Since the publication of the The Interrupted Journey by John Fuller, Betty and Barney Hill have been reluctant celebrities in UFO circles. In 1961, the Hills witnessed a UFO in the mountains of New Hampshire while driving home from a vacation in Canada. But it was what happened afterward that made the case a phenomenon.

Fuller’s book left much about the Hills’ abduction unsaid. Stanton Friedman, along with UFO researcher and the Hills’ niece Kathleen Marden, fills in those blanks with a detailed analysis of the documents, reports, hypnotic regression tapes, dreams, and interviews with Betty Hill herself.

A very intriguing book, Friedman and Marden take all the skeptical arguments and counter them with facts from the actual documents. As Bruce Macabee states in the foreword: “With the publication of this book, the skeptics’ ‘wiggle room’ has shrunk to zero.”

Packed full of photographs, drawings, and photocopies of the documents in question, Captured! has more information than you can possibly want on the first documented UFO abduction. I can’t imagine that you would want another book on the Hill case once you’ve read this one.
